I enjoyed each of the characters, and I loved uncovering their secrets. This one doesn’t disappoint as this book delivers another fascinating bunch of characters to follow. Hilderbrand is known for her character driven novels. The summer of 1969 quickly proves to be one unlike any other. Her son, Tiger, is serving in Vietnam, Blair her eldest daughter is married and expecting twins, while her other daughter, Kirby, also known as the wild one, is off on her own in Martha’s Vineyard. Kate’s other children are off on their own adventures.
